It’s good that they’re removed from Hort,
For some they had become a rort.
The playing field is fairer now,
Yet still we need to see somehow,
That trees do not escape the axe
And have an easy ride from tax.
There’ll be a rush, a helter skelter,
As many seek the treed tax shelter.
As policy it’s quite unsound,
And stops the best land use of ground.
